Badung, CNBC Indonesia – Melasti Water Carnival is one of the agendas that enlivens the 10th World Water Forum series. As the name suggests, this Carnival is held at Melasti beach from 17:00 WITA.
There were various interesting entertainments displayed at this carnival such as appearances from RAN as guest star, Alffy Rev, Jun Bintang, and guided by MC Ito Sedana and Mo Sidik. This excitement was followed by the participants of this world water forum with a touch of Balinese culture.
In the Melasti Water Carnival there is a Kecak dance, Community craft fairs, water carnival dance & baleganjurAnd performance from Balinese artists.
After the event, buses will be provided with four different routes: Nusa Dua area, Sanur area, Jimbaran area, and Kuta area (for forum participants only). The audience was also presented with the Kecak dance which tells the story of the Ramayana which tells about the struggles of Rama, Dewi Sita and Hanoman.
This Kecak dance performance was able to amaze the audience in Melasti cultural night and crowded the front stage.
In between the event, the participants also looked at handicrafts at booth provided at the entrance.
After the Kecak dance, there are Belaganjur and dance performances water carnival dance. Baleganjur comes from two words, namely bala and ganjur which are now baleganjur. Bala means troops or ranks and ganjur means walking.
The final performance closed with RAN's appearance as guest stars. This festival was attended by PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono who came after the water carnival dance and baleganjur.
