Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Xiaomi will release a mid-range cellphone (mid-range) their newest, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, in the near future.
One of the advantages that is the selling point of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is the main camera with a resolution of 200 MP, which is an increase from 50 MP on the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.
Of course, that's not the only improvement offered. CNBC Indonesia had the opportunity to try out the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G before its official release in Indonesia.
Until this news was released, Xiaomi Indonesia had not revealed the retail price. However, as an illustration, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G was sold starting at IDR 5.4 million when it was globally released in India last January.
For cellphones in the segment mid-range, Redmi Note 13 Pro has several advantages that are worth appreciating. However, there are also notes that we think can be improved in the future.
Check out the complete review of the Redmi Note 13 Pro from CNBC Indonesia's experience of using this cellphone to support daily needs, such as accessing social media, chatplay gamestake photos and videos, as well as watch movies and listen to songs.
Flagship style screen
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G brings improvements in terms of resolution and screen brightness which are higher than the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.
Xiaomi offers a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1220p resolution, 12-bit color depth, peak brightness up to 1,800 nits, and 120Hz refresh rate. This panel supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ which is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
When you first turn it on, this cellphone screen feels like a flagship product in the price range of IDR 9 million and above. The contrast and visual density of the image can be relied on to support entertainment needs such as watching films and playing games. Walking outdoors with exposure to strong sunlight is also not a problem.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G measures 161.15x 74 x 8 mm and weighs 187 grams, slightly shorter and narrower than the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G thanks to the thinner screen bezels.
In terms of design, there is a slight difference in the rear camera panel. Whereas previously it was rectangular and slimmer, now it is perfectly square and slightly wider. There is a subtle divider and a prominent accent ring around the lens.
This cellphone is available in Midnight Black and Aurora Purple. Coincidentally, CNBC Indonesia got the Midnight Black variant. The side design is still reminiscent of the iPhone series, which is a straight box without curves.
The weight is standard, not too light and not too heavy. The frame uses standard materials in the style of the Redmi series matte finish. The back is wrapped in glass which gives a luxurious impression.

Unfortunately, the black glass material looks dirty more quickly from fingerprints on it. So for those of you who choose this variant, you have to be diligent in cleaning it and use the black silicon case that is included in the sales box.
