Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Streaming service Netflix allows multiple users to share accounts. However, it turns out that this method was used by unknown people using accounts without permission.
For your information, one Netflix account can be used by several devices depending on the package chosen. For example, the Basic plan can use one device at a time.
The Standard package allows two devices to be used at once. Premium for four devices simultaneously.
There are several reasons for using it more than the established rules. For example, the account is still active on the old device or connected to a device elsewhere or while on vacation.
You can find out unknown devices by accessing your Netflix account. If an unknown device is found, you can log out and change the password to ensure the device is not connected to your account.

1. Log in to your account on your PC, smartphone or tablet
2. Select Profile
3. Click the menu at the top right and select Account
4. Go to the Security and Privacy menu and select Manage Access and devices
5. You will see a list of devices using your Netflix account
6. You can log out of unrecognized devices
Change Account Password
If you find that there is a device that is not recognized, the next step is to change the account password. Here's how to do it:
1. Sign in to your Netflix account
2. Select Profile and click Account
3. Select Change Password. Later you will be asked to enter the current password and a replacement one
4. Check the 'sign out of all devices' option
