Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A report released by Counterpoint Research describes the lineup of the best-selling smartphones in the world. As a result, it is not the Samsung, Oppo or Vivo brands that dominate the market.
In the report, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the best-selling cellphone in the world in early 2024. Three other iPhone 15 models also entered the top 10 best-selling cellphones in the same period.
According to the report, sales of the Pro version of the iPhone accounted for half of sales in the first quarter. In the same period, the model also contributed 60% of sales value.
Counterpoint explained several reasons for attracting sales of these products. One of them offers substantial improvements and refinements over the base model.
The performance of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also good. Users are also willing to spend more money, because Apple raised its selling price for the first time since 2019.

Meanwhile, in second and third positions are occupied by the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. iPhone 15 Plus is ranked 8th.
In the Counterpoint Q1-2023 report, iPhone is also in the top position. But not the Pro-Max model, but the base model of the iPhone 14.
Apart from Apple, Samsung is also on the list. Donated five cellphones, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra which is ranked 5th.
